Engraving your wedding ring will make it more special and unique. Choosing your own message to engrave in your ring makes it more special, because they will likely to last a long time. Names of the couple or dates of the wedding day are the traditional inscriptions but nowadays many are taking the twist. They prefer poems, phrases or messages for their partners. Choosing what to engrave in the rings will surely make it more sentimental and valuable.

Before deciding to engrave your ring you have to consider first the message you want to engrave. this is important since you can’t change the inscription anymore but most likely you can add some message in the future. Second, choose whether to have your ring hand engrave or machine engrave. Hand engrave is a serious work of art, done through a miniature chisel-like tool called the “engraver”. Wherein the engraver tips comes in various shapes and sizes which allows the engraver to create complicated styles of texts and characters that provides you a special and unique outcome. Many engraver prefer to work with gold because it is softer but it cannot with stand tear and wear unlike platinum. Hand engravers or the skilled ones engraver are capable of creating an inscription in various text styles. Machine engraving, on the other hand, the ring is placed in a machine that is done usually with engravers through working off of templates. Since they often work off of templates you have limited options, on the other hand it has lower cost.
